Hi,
We are in the process of planning the upgrade of our CUCM servers and as part of this they will have new IP addresses. A challenge we have with this is our CIPC's point to the old servers for their TFTP entries. Is there a way to centrally update all our user's TFTP entries in their softphones? I'd rather not go down the road of having them all updated manually (there are several hundred). Thanks!
Craig

Hi Craig
The only way I've found of doing this is to push a registry change out via GPO.
The TFTP Server addresses are located at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems, Inc.\Communicator
Keys TftpServer1 & TftpServer2
The values are stored in hex, so you'll need to do the relevant calcuations to get the right value. The digits are also stored right to left if that makes sense...
e.g.
6445a8c0
equates to
192.168.69.100
