cisco 2921 support for ip phone 7841

good day!

i am currently setting up IP PHONE in my network and i am new to this.

i have cisco 2921 router and IP phone 7841. currently my router does not have support for 7841 and i find it difficult to load firmware(loads file) for the said phone. Is it possible to add 7841 to the router's list of supported ip phones? how? =)

What version of IOS are you running? Minimum is 15.4(1)T

Phone support is dependent on the CME release you have, not on the ISR itself.

Do notice that some ISRs can only run up to a certain IOS release.

my CME is 9.1

can it be upgraded? how?

CME is embedded in the IOS, upgrade the IOS to upgrade CME.
