Cisco 7940 "TFTP File Not Found", MGCDefault.cnf missing

My 7940 is bricked, and when I try upgrading firmware, it gives me "TFTP File Not Found". The TFTP server says that the phone is looking for "MGCDefault.cnf", and "SIPDefault.cnf", and other files. I've read that it may be because I am trying to upgrade to a major release, (8.0). If anyone has an older version, (5.0, 6.0) please contact me. If there's anything else I'm missing let me know. I do not have a way to run CallManager.

If this was all because the phone firmware was upgraded to 8.0 the error messages (TFTP File Not Found) would not have appeared.

Cisco phones pick up their config, firmware and other associate files from a TFTP.  If the phone boots up to say that "TFTP File Not Found", I'd say because the config files are missing or the TFTP server is unreachable.

Who setup this phone to begin with?
