My customer has some 7945 phones with customized background image. This image isn't on the CUCM's TFTP server (since migration from version 7 to 10) so I'm unable to set the same background image on recently added 7965 phones. Is there a way to download background image directly from the Cisco IP Phone 79XX ?
Kind regards.
Mariusz.

The background image IS kept in the phone, that's why some products like phone designer could work independently of CUCM by pushing the image directly to the device, even if the image was never in the TFTP. The problem is, you cannot download the image from the phone.
If the image is not in the old cluster, there are only a few options:
A) It was at some point in time, and was deleted
B) They used phone designer, or a similar app
C) They used some other 3rd party tool/script to bulk deploy the image

Hi Mariusz,
Phones don't keep the images on flash, if you don't find it on TFTP server you will have to get from somewhere else.

Hi Jitender,
How is this even possible that these phones keep this customized background image if it's not on the TFTP server. I think previous admin used some kind of third party application to upload the image to the phones directly.
What is your opinion ?
Regards.
Mariusz.

Can you search it under
Directory "/Desktops/320x212x16"

System version: 10.5.1.10000-7, I didnt do this migration I think it was done manually with BAT exports.

Upgrades to higher versions are not supported through BAT, so it might be something else
There is BUG that can do so, it says PCD, but i have seen it otherwise also

Ok I see but I think this migration wasn't done with PCD.
