Hello everyone,
I have setup a Cisco phone system with CUCM and an ASA so that we can have multiple 7945 phones remotely connected via AnyConnect VPN. The phones have been configured to use certificate based authentication for the VPN connection to the ASA. This has been working fine for about 6 months now but we have a user who somehow managed to get their phone to switch authentication modes to 'Username and Password' rather than 'Certificate'. To be clear, the setting I'm looking at is under Settings > Security Configuration > VPN Configuration > Authentication Mode. I have tried getting their phone to switch back to certificate authentication but have been unsuccessful. I'm trying to avoid further down-time for the user by having them send me their phone so I can reprogram it (they live in a different state than the system) so do any of you know of a way I can get their phone working again?
