Hi all,
Probably a simple one for many but I'm quite new to this:
I'm trying to run 3 x 7960G Cisco IP phones through a SF302-08P switch but am not having any luck powering the phones. I've tested another Snom phone that is recent & it powers on but not the Cisco phones. Might be stating the obvious here, but do the phones have to be connected to Callmanager or something else in order to power?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance & any help much appreciated.
Alex

The only thing I can think of is cable issue. 7960G is a fairly old phones and there are injectors &/or power bricks available cheaply in e-bay.

Thanks for the reply. The other non-Cisco phone is powering up fine though so how could it be a cable issue?

So all three Cisco 7960G phones are not powering up? Have they ever worked before?

Hi Leo, Yes they have worked with a cube before. Thanks

Ok, so they worked with a power cube before but never with PoE.
Now it's beginning to sound like a configuration issue or a cable issue.
