Cisco CUP Server Installation Issue

Hi All

When trying to perform the installation of the Unified presence server I keep getting stuck at the Connectivity validation where the new CUP server connects to the Publisher server

I have double checked all settings and pre-created the server object on CUCM Manager. The security password is definitely correct as it was used previously to install subscriber nodes

CUP Server iso - 11.0.1.11900-4

CUCM Publisher version - 11.0.1.20000-2

I have confirmed connectivity between the publisher and the cup server by pinging cup from the publisher. All DNS names can be resolved by each server and DNS records exist for each server.

How long ago did you use the security password to install the previous nodes?

I had a similar issue....logged a call with TAC and swore blind I knew what the security password was.....reset it on the CUCM boxes and the CUPS node then validated. I then proceeded to look very sheepish :)
