Cisco Finesse Generic Error Code

Dear,

We have a contact center 10.5 running with a customer with a master & slave server. We are receiving a weird error while logging people into the finesse web application to take calls.

So when they attempt a login; They get the following error: Generic Error Occured: Generic error, I have gone through some of the logs on the contact center. Log file collect on "Cisco Finesse" and found some lines that were interesting:

0000017617: 10.26.41.6: Dec 10 2014 09:16:44.687 +0100: %CCBU_CTIMessageEventExecutor-0-6-DECODED_MESSAGE_FROM_CTI_SERVER: %[cti_message=CTIControlFailureConf [failureCode=0, peripheralErrorCode=88001, text=Unable to login agent due to problems in JTAPI or CM]CTIMessageBean [invokeID=2805, msgID=35, timeTracker={"id":"ControlFailureConf","CTI_MSG_NOTIFIED":1418199404687,"CTI_MSG_RECEIVED":1418199404687}, msgName=ControlFailureConf, deploymentType=CCX]][cti_response_time=0]: Decoded Message to Finesse from backend cti server

0000017618: 10.26.41.6: Dec 10 2014 09:16:44.688 +0100: %CCBU_pool-7-thread-21-3-CMD_FAILED: %[ENTITY_ID=027289060][ERROR_DESCRIPTION=errorCode 0][command_name=LOGIN]: Received failed command response

The contact center is on a supported ESXi environment (5.1)

Some users can login with no issues, and then others get a error like this. I found some stuff that was interesting, but i don't know if it's applicable to my issue: https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuq64309

The version is 10.5 but the first release here: 10.5.1.10000-24.

I have downloaded the newer release : 10.5.1.11001-49

Which i hope will resolve this issue

Do you guys have any other ideas, i can paste full logs if wanted from the RTMT, i'm quite new to Cisco Finesse

Kr,

Hi Kr,

I'm facing this issue too. Could you please tell me if you still facing it after upgrade to a higher version?
