Hi,
I have an issue with my Cisco IP Phone 7916 Expansion module it is connected to an Cisco IP phone 7965.
The problem is that when my wireless headset (plantronics) is connected to the modile it reboots when there is an incoming call.
When the headset is connected to the phone it works normally.
We have other users in our company with this issue.
So it seems to be an firmware update.
Does someone have an idea about this issue ?
Best Regards.

guys, we have cucm 9.1.2 SU3
our firmware shows B016-1-0-4-2 for the 7916.
we still have the problem with sidecars rebooting when using EHS for headsets.
bug workaround stop using headset.

The workaround is not acceptable .
We have re-opened the chase for the bug iD CSCsr94524
Disable HHC option is not fixing this because the Plantronics headset
is not answering anymore.
did anyone found a way to fix this ??

when you talk with them again, can you ask if we can downgrade both the phone and sidecar to previous version?
our client states it worked before our SU3 patch update.
thanks,

Hi,
My problem is solved by upgrading the phone to firmware version SCCP45.9-4-2SR1-1S

can you provide info about systems?
cucm version
7965?
one or two 7916 attached?
plantronics headset?
lines and speed dial or blf on side cars?
blf/spd on sidecar only?
thanks,
b
