Hi Team
Please help to resolve the above error,it is showing TFTP timeout error on my Cisco IP phone 7940 model,please tell the procedure or any document to recover from this error.

Check network connection and route to the server. what is the complete error message ?
Are they properly configured in CUCM?Anything preventing TFTP/HTTP communication between phones and CUCM?? Are they all local? The most likely the problem is that they're remote and timeout when downloading the config/FW, set a local TFTP repository and try again.

Hi,
TFTP timeout means that your ip phone device can't logically connect it's tftp server which is necessary to get its director number, did you configured your tftp ip address correct inside your phone ?
