Cisco ip phone 7960G unregister reason!!

Hello,

 

Anyone know where i can see the reason about unregisters a set?, i have seen thas was not a switch problem, the port switch ever been up but the ip phone lost register sometimes with CUCM 9.

You can check from either:

 

A.) The status messages in the IP-Phone;

 

Settings > Status > Status Messages

 

B.) From the Web-page of the IP-Phone:

 

Simply get the IP Address from the IP-Phone and enter it in your browser and navigator status messages.

i have followed your instructions, i see the timestamp os restart but i can not see the reason. I have attched what i see below.

In the logs I can see that its getting the trust list and assuming that is registering.

 

Do you mean that the phone unregisters at random times and re-registeres?

Yes,

this is the issue, sometimes the ip pone unregisters and we would know the reason.

If that the case, then you will need to get the logs from the servers using RTMT.

This similar question was already answered in CSC.

 

Also the reason code for unregistered or straight from cisco.
