Cisco IP phones suddenly showing a message trying to register over a VPN tunnel

We've had a site-to-site VPN tunnel configured between 2 locations for at least 2 years, and we've never had problems with the Cisco IP phones at the remote site functioning. All of a sudden, the phones at the remote location all show they are trying to register. There is a UC540 at the host location, and there have never been any DHCPD options in the remote ASA configuration. The sites are very static in their configuration, so I'm not sure where to even start checking things out. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

The problem is resolved. I ended up adding option 150 to the DHCP service on the ASA and added this IP to the tunnel for the UC540. It's up and running. Neither of these have been configured in the past, so I'm not sure how it worked.
