Cisco jabber showing wrong picture of called user

Hi All , 

We have a extension 40821 in US location , when US colleague call to 4082....  showing India location user 40821 image on jabber . Any idea about this issue ?????

Are there duplicates in your directory for the same DN?

Have you tried clearing the cache?

What troubleshooting have you done so far?

Thanks for your consideration..

exactly when US location users are dialing internally number 4082 ( 4 digit internal  number ) in jabber getting India location 4082 extension user profile picture . 

*Tried to clear cache 

* we  tried to create new user profile which is in US location and tried to call  to this same extension .       but it showing the same issue so issue with multiple users 

*we have tried to delete user and created new one

*In active directory details also checked 

My L3 raised a ticket with TAC , i will let you know exactly once i get update from their end .

If your directory configuration is so that the same user has access to both users with 4082, that is the problem, Jabber will pull the info from whoever comes first when it searches the directory.

what identity do you use to name the photos? They should be unique per
user. It seems that you have overlapping identities.

Am not sure about it , We have raised a ticket with TAC  and waiting for there response .

If you share the jabber-config.xml which is on the user machine we can see
what is the attribute configure for picture. Based on that attribute, you
can check if you have an overlap.
