Cisco manufacturer device certificates on 7800 and 8800 phones

I found this link on Cisco's website: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/704/fn70496.html

I was wondering if there is a way to check if the phone has a manufacturer installed device certificate at the phone itself without having to connect the phone to CUCM?

Thanks in advanced.

Look at the serial number of the phone.

First three letters of the serial number (from left to right) is the factory code.  The next two numbers are the year it was made.  For 2024, the number should be 28 (for 2023, it should be 23).  The next two numbers are the week of the year.

According to the FN, this affects phone manufactured before 2018.  The number should be "22" (and less).

If the serial number (after the factory code) is from 22 and descending, the MIC may be expired.

Thanks Leo, I noticed you said the MIC may be expired, I noticed the same wording in the link that I found, I was hoping that I would be able to see something more concrete.  I guess Cisco doesn't have anything like that though.
