VoIP phones over a wireless network is generally not supported due to the potential of high latency, packet loss and jitter; however, Starlink claims to have latency around 40 to 50ms and packet loss stable under 1% with minimal jitter. My organization is in Idaho and we have some rural areas of the state where satellite is one of the only options and we have more people switching to Starlink in these areas. Does anyone know if Cisco phones over MRA are expected to work with Starlink? Even if it does work, is this like traditional satellite where if it works great, but if it doesn't have someone look at your network? Does anyone have any testing or evidence of functionality over Starlink?
Thanks!
