cisco router 4451 specific ports for rtp

Hello, 

One of my  clients has cisco router 4451. He  would like to configure specific  ports for the rtp. 

Instead of 16384 - 32767 he wants 25000-32767  . Is it possible ? if so I how to configure ?

Hmm..so you are running CME on 4451? I am not sure if this is configurable on CME.

But if call control is Call Manager v10 onwards you can have configurable RTP port range.

We use 2 router 4451 to get incoming calls through PRI and then forward this calls to ivr (not cisco) . 

All we want to do is that each one of the router  to turn the ivr in diffrenet range of ports .

4451 has default RTP port pool of 8000 – 48199.

Change it like this:

voice service voip

  rtp-port range <start port> <end port>
