Hello all
New to Cisco here and struggling to figure out back light settings for one single 7970 phone.
No matter what commands i try on CLI the phone still seems to follow a schedule.
What i am trying to achieve is the phone active and backlit 24/7
no matter where i look it seems articles point to settings up a schedule.
can anyone point me in the right direction of the commands to enable the phone to be backlit and active 24/7?
any help is appreciated thank you

Below thread explains the back light behavior ( it is old not sure how much it can help). You can give a try using "backlightIdleTimeout" parameter.

Thank you for the reply and link sasikumar, I did try that article beforehand but still to no avail, the single 7961 still is following a schedule. Ive rebooted and factory reset phone and reset CNF files but still cannot get the phone to stay on 24/7
