Do you mean phones?

No, CME can't support that much phones. As per below document, it will support maximum of 100 phones.

Yes. Thanks vivek.

Do you mean is this hardware limitation ? If i upgrade from 8.6 to later any chance ?

Even CME 10 doesn't go beyond 100 phones;

What is the limitation here ? Can we upgrade DSP cards ? or how can we achieve more users in CME.

Other vendors have this feature to add more users

I don't see it as limitation. That is the system maximum capacity.

DSPs has nothing to do with maximum phones capacity hence increasing DSP card won't increase the number of user.

When you say with other vendors you can add more users/phones, there would also be some threshold where you can't go beyond.

So instead of first selecting the platform and then fit into your requirement, you need to select the platform as per you requirement. None of the CME platform go beyond 450 phones.

You should move to either BE6K or BE7K which fits into your requirement.

Thank you. Well

What about concurrent sessions ? WIll it be same as total phones ?

Please check the below datasheet for 2921, maximum ccme session = 100.

Cisco 3945, 3925E, and 3945E Integrated Services Routers can have below licences ?

FL-CUBEE-1000

What does 1000 means ? If this specify to session then why Cisco limit CME UC license to max 500 and CUBE 1000 ?

Because it does not take the same resources, those are different features. The bottom line is, that there is no way you can get 1K users on a single CME ISR, I suggest you reach a Cisco partner so they can assist you in choosing the right product.

Thanks Jaime.

Can anyone answer to my question regarding ISR. That is isco 3945, 3925E, and 3945E Integrated Services Routers can have CUBE license as below

FL-CUBEE-1000 ? What does it mean ?

This means 1000 sessions. Session refers to call, not call leg.

- Vivek

So we can have 1000 calls  right ? if we have 1000 calls then, telephony users should be more than or equal to 1000.

CUBE is a IP-IP gateway and nothing to do with number of users. But you're apparently right that network may have more than 1000 users however not in CUBE itself. CUBE is mostly installed with telephony platform like CUCM and users/phones will be a part of CUCM, not CUBE.

- Vivek

Here ISR is bundle with all the featues including UC,CUBE. So in this case UC users will be max 100 and CUBE will be 1000 ?
