Cluster CUCM 7. Physical publisher and Vmware subscriber

Hi All

I need to improve IP telephony providing Fault Tolerance with Active/Standby architecture. I want to create in ESXi 4.1 two machines as backup of production physical machines CUCM 7 and UCCX 7.1. Someone have experience with this ?  I know I need be carefull with NTP if I want add a subscriber. I will be gratefull with any help.

Hi Luis,

Versions prior to CUCM 8.0(2) are not supported in a VMWare environment.  You will need to get to version 8.0(2) before you consider moving to ESXi.  In regards to having a physical and virtual CUCM server in the same cluster (ex. pub/sub) that is supported as long as you install the virtual server on a Cisco approved platform (ex. UCS, approved IBM/HP servers).
