Hello Mates,
how do you change a user account from Inactive LDAP status to Active LDAP status in the user mangement section?

That only happens if there is a matching LDAP account to which you can sync.

Just adding to Jaime's post.
So, if you have had an account which got converted to Inactive LDAP Status, if the same user does exist in the LDAP, then it will simply become Active again, once the Synch is restored.
