Hi,
a customer of us has a CME (2921 ISR G2) installation and 7965G phones connected to it.
Does someone know if/how it would be possible for the users to create individual phone directories on these 7965G phones?
Thanks!

Its the same GUI interface as admins use, users just use the user credentials instead. Just similar to call manager user pages with limited functions. They access the same CME link and enter the credentials you as an admin define under their ephone.
Try and see how it goes. To be honest I always prefer CLI and haven't even touched GUI for admin tasks ever apart from just the sake of trying.
Anyways here are the instructions:

You can configure directory services on CME, turn on the http and under CME config define the URL and directory entries. For a detailed procedure refer below document:
Refer to the below URL: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeadm/cmedirs.html#pgfId-1010380

Hi,
thanks, but I´m looking for individual phone books (a separate phone book on each phone).
Any ideas if this is possible?

There is no personal address book feature in CME but a close thing is personal speed dial, that users can add from the phone itself by navigating to Services Button > MyPhoneApps > Speed Dials. or from web gui.
Try below commands to enable this.

Hi Terry,
thanks!

are you referring to web gui of the phone (and if yes, how can this be enabled/configured) or to the web gui of the CME?
