Codec Negotiation

Hello,

I wonder if someone can help me with codec negotiation issue.

Call flow is next:

VoIP (H.323)-->AS5400-->PSTN

If a call has two codecs:

1. g711ulaw

2. g729

And AS5400 has voice class codec:

1. g729

2. g711ulaw

Then calls are terminated in g729 codec always.

Is it possible to force AS5400 to terminate a call with first codec from originator?

Hi ,

Configure AS5400 with Codec preference , So G711ulaw can be configured in Voice class Codec with first preference or specify codec in respective Dial-peer.

So that high priority can be used ..
