Common Profile with BAT

Why is it that BAT does not allow to update Common Profiles in bulk ?

CCM version 4.2.3Sr2b

Bat version 5.1.4

Is there any way to provision common profiles in 4.2.3?

The related info is in this doc (sadly Common Profiles cannot be updated via BAT as noted by Shanky);
