Hi
I am running call manager 6.14 and we have a third party paging system getting installed. Now it connects to our IPT system via FXS and FXO ports, The paging system is a digital system and has different zones. Now there is an extension for each department but within that department there are zones.
Extension to call is 1000
zone 01 = warehouse
zone 02 = warehouse offices
zone 03 = both
So when a call is placed to 1000, its going to the warehouse paging system. When you dial 1000, one sec later you hear dead air and then you need to dial 01 or 02 or 03 depending on who you want to page.
My question is, is there a way to setup the system to do this
If i call 1000, it rings and connects, then it automatically dials 01 or want ever one i want it to default too.

No way to do such thing, CUCM has no way to insert a pause in a dial string.

No, there is no representation of a pause in CUCM anywhere.
If you're using H323 GWs reach Paolo (look leaderboard) as he has a script that can do this.

In CME you can put a comma in a translation rule and it will put a pause and then continue
translation-profile 1800
rule 1 /1800123456789/ /1800123456789,4321/
This same thing cannot be done in the full blown call manager?

No, as I already mentioned, CUCM has no representation of a pause for any dial pattern.
Simply put, CUCM has no pauses. It sends the whole dial string.
