Hello,
we've bought a Cisco CP-9951 today. The phone is connected to our Router and receives an IP-Adress over DHCP.
But the display gives out the following error/message:
"Phone couldn't be registered".
The logfile says, that there is a connection timeout to the TFTP-Server and that the trustlist couldn't be loaded.
I've checked the user manual and some guides, but couldn't solve the problem so far.
Firmware Version: sip9951.9-2-1
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks and best regards,
Serhat

What call manager version are you using?
TFTP option 150 needs to be set on your dhcp scope, which points to your tftp server.
I assume the phone has been built in the call manager?

Hello,
thanks for your fast reply.
"TFTP option 150 needs to be set on your dhcp scope, which points to your tftp server."
Could you specify that? Do you mean the Port 150, which needs to be set and redirected to my tftp server?
Do I need to setup the TFTP Server myself?
I've checked the whole menu but couldn't find something related to a call manager.

Assuming you already have a CUCM server, all you need to do is make sure TFTP is running and point your phone to it.
I'm also assuming you already configured your phone in CUCM before trying to register it.
If you're an end user, you want to ask your IT support team for assistance.

Do you have a callmanager up and running?
Normally one of your callmanagers is your tftp server, however you can setup a standalone tftp server.
Option 150 is added to the dhcp scope, which is done on your dhcp server.
Here is a posting that discusses the tftp server.
