configure voice and data vlan on same port cisco unified communication manager 7

hello,

  I have a switch 4503 , I configure voice and data vlan and assingned to  each  RANGE port fa/0-22 , the problem is when  I plug phone to  the interneface fa 1/0 ------>then pc to phone . pc gets the ip range  of 192.168.5.0 but ip phone doesnt get ip ......

VLAN VOICE 2

VLAN DATA 1 (vlan default)

sorry i make a mistake the SWITCH IS 2960

VLAN VOICE 2 192.168.1.0/24

VLAN DATA 1 (DEFAULT VLAN 1 ) 192.168.5.0/24

Hi,

Make sure your config looks like:

interface fastethernet x/y

   switchport access vlan 1

   switchport voice vlan 2

Check cdp is enabled in your switch, and make sure you have a DHCP serving 192.168.1.0/24 in VLAN 2.

Also check to make sure the IP address assigned to interface Vlan 1 and interface Vlan 2 are what you expect.

This address is how the DHCP server decides what pool to offer an address from.
