When I try to login with my profile (extension mobility) on Cisco 7970, I get error message "Control Error [201]". Can someone help me how to slove this issue? I'm using CallManager 6.0.

Only for 7970s?
The template is for the same phone model?

I'v configured two profiles and one of them is working without any problem. I just copied the profile, which is working correctly, and changed the name and configured a separate line number on it. I tried to login on a different telephone model, but all in vain.

That makes sense to me.
Device Profiles are based on Phone models also.
Make sure when u login the Phone model and the Device Profile are using to login are the same otherwise it will fail.

simply change pin in CM/end user - hopefully it will fix 201 EM error
