Could i set speed dials from the phone set?

i have a Callmanager 6.

My question is: is there any way to set the speed dials on the phone from the phone set itself not from CM administration page or from user web page(ccmuser page)? this is to minimize overhead on the administrator and helps users who have no web access.

mmm, the only possible way i could think of to do that would be creating a custom service for the ip phones.

any of the standard ways provided by Cisco involves the use of web access from a PC.

i'm not sure if someone has deployed this before, u can try also the IP Phone Services for End Users forum to ask about this
