CP 8861 sip88xx.12-5-1SR1-4 to 88xx.11-2-1MPP-630_REL

I have some cisco 8861 IP Phones which we recently ordered and are running enterprise version on these. They came with firmware 11-7 firmware on it. Since we need to register them to an external sip provider we need to have multiplatform firmware on it and then configure line 1 setting through the web console if possible. I have manage to upgrade it to sip88xx.12-5-1SR1-4 but cannot install mpp 88xx.11-2-1MPP-630_REL version on it . we dont have cucm so i have tried to configure with TFTP by using a SEPXXXXXXX.cnf.xml file without any success.

Any advise if someone have manage to suceed with this

That's impossible, there is no path from enterprise to 3PCC, or the other way for that matter.

If you wanted to use the devices with a 3rd party PBX, you had to buy the 3PCC models.

If you're running enterprise FW, you can only use the .xml files to manually tweak the configuration for 3rd party PBX registration.
