I know what Cisco Support Field does, but what is the analytics-related stuff for?

unfortunately it doesn't help much.  The description for the two analytics settings barely qualifies as "documentation", vs. just "a longer way to describe this setting without indicating what it does".

Analytics Collection:	Indicates if analytics collection is enabled or disabled for the client.
	This is a required field.
	Default:                  Disabled
Analytics Server URL:	The URL of the analytics server that will be used by the client. The default is blank.
	Maximum length:                1024

What analytics are collected?  What type of URL/service is it hitting?

I agree, still haven't found a use for these settings.

Anything more Cisco can add?
