Hi,
I would like to get some advice on CUCM integration with LDAP.
Our CUCM 10.x is presently having local database and want to have it integrated with LDAP server.
We want user authentication against corporate AD and users being managed/ imported from open LDAP server.
Also, corporate directory lookup with the open LDAP.
Please let me know if any one has done similar deployment or such a solution is possible. Authentication against Microsoft AD and user import from open LDAP server
Thanks,
Kevin.

I will assume you mean the corporate directory, if so, yes, it uses the synced users only.
And yes, you can build your own directory script to go directly to LDAP.

No, that's not possible, you can only choose one LDAP server type, and that will be used for sync and authentication. Either you do all AD, or all open LDAP.

Hello Jaime,
Please let me know if my understanding is correct.
If i have my users pulled from LDAP server does the directory look-up happens against the users records in CUCM database. Also, SRND mentions that i can change the directory look-up to corporate ldap directory with an external web server acting as proxy.
Thanks,
Thomas

Thanks Jaime. Can you share any reference guide for this process(external directory lookup)

Go to DevNet to find some sample code for this, or review the CUCM programming guides to build it from scratch. Bear in mind you will need a separate web server to host it.
There are also several companies that sell directory options

Jaime,
Just want to follow this thread. Can you please tell me how many custom ldap filters can be configured in CUCM and how many filter association is possible with each ldap bind agreement.
There is no much details in SRND.

I don't think there's a limit on how many custom LDAP filters you can use, but since you can only use one filter per LDAP directory, I don't see a reason to have large number of them

Hello Kevin,
Pls check the LDAP enhancements made on CUCM 9.x and 10.x and this may help you for LDAP integration with CUCM.
