Trying to build the first subscriber in a 6.1 cluster. Build will not complete and the following error appears:

What the heck? I've tried to build from DVD as well with the same results. Leads me to believe it may not like something about the way the PUB is built?
It gets past the network verifiications and so forth and crashes after about 60%? of the build maybe....over a half hour into it.
