Hi There,
We are in the process of upgrading our call manager cluster from current version 6.1.2 to 7.0.2. Can anyone help me understanding how the licenses will work. We currently have loaded 3 license files in the publisher, one for the nodes, one for the units and i think the third is for software features. What will happen when upgrading to 7.0.2. How many new license files will i need to upload? hope not one for each node that is one for publisher and one for subscriber.
Much appreciated,
Esteban

if u have already a node license for your nodes in 6.x it will work.
(we _do_ need Node License per node.
Ie you have 3 servers u upload a file which contains the 3 node license or 3 files with 1 node license
Licencing in 7.x is pretty similar as in 6.x
DLU
Nodes
SW feature license
If u have the pak number u can check online how many licenses u have or with the mac u can contact licensing@cisco.com

You will just need a new software feature license for version 7. The node and unity counts will carryover. Without the new license file, CCM service will not stay running.
