CUCM 7.0 Incorrect Cause code from external numbers.

Hi all,

We have a CUCM 7.0 running with MGCP  gateways.   we are experiencing  issues when  VOIP users dials an external  extensions and if external extensions are busy , then  Calls being dropped instead of Getting busy tone.   Can someone point out where to make changes and what changes needs to implement? .  It seems  QSIG cause code might be causing the issue.  Any one out there has experienced the issue ?

Are you using MGCP PRI ? If so, can you get the 'debug isdn q931' output for a failure call ? Detailed CallManager traces (sdi and sdl) from all servers would help too. Let me know

- Calling party

- Called party

- Time stamp of call

- Exact user experience

Hi ,

the Call scenerio is    VOIP phone   --------> MGCP PRI  ------->  PSTN   --------> External FAX  ( only Accepts single call At a time )

Now IF the receiving Fax is busy   then  VOIP phone should get Busy tone   not dropped call tone. 

I will  collect  Traces and send you ASAP .  Thanks,
