At one of our sites they have a call handler with a simple setup.
Inbound calls ring and if no answer they go to VM.
I can add a destination DN as a coverage path.
But can I make that destination DN be active via a timed schedule?

Sure, you can put the DN in partition that has time schedule assigned to it.

Hi Chris,
So for example if my call handler DN is 5500 and the destination DN for coverage path is 5501 you are saying put the destination DN 5501 in a partition with a time schedule?

Sure, or you can do time schdule in Unity before you even send it back to CUCM.

I think I need to clarify this a bit more...
So the dept with call handler 5500 receives calls normally during the day between say 8 AM until 3 PM.
From 3 PM until 5 PM they would like a coverage path.
So from 3 PM until 5 PM the dept with call handler 5501 willl be coverage for 5500.
5501 needs to otherwise be available for their own normal call flow between 8 AM and 5 PM as well.
It seems like I might need to put in place a middle man DN.
For example create 5555 that is permanently CFWDALL to 5501.
Then use 5555 as the destination DN coverage for 5500 and put 5555 in a partition with a timed schedule.

OK, this is ever easier.
Build a schedule in Unity defined as 8-3
Assign this schduele to the 5500 call handler
Enable Closed Transfer rule on this handler and set it to transfer to the 5501 CH

Right on I will start working with those features and follow up after some testing.
Thanks!
