CUCM 8.5 MLHG to voice mail

I need to set a MLHG to go to voice mail in Unity 8.5. I was told I could do it via alternate extension but have not been able to figure out how. Any help would be appreciated.

mlhg has 5 phone coming from ext 3698. I would like if no one answers to forward to voice mail activing to dist. list email.

Hi Bob,

You would only need to use the "Alternate extension" method if you were

trying to get calls that route through the Hunt set up @ 3698 to end up in another mailbox

like perhaps 3600.If 3698 is the Hunt pilot and is the number that is ultimately being forwarded

to Unity Connection, then you can go ahead and just set up the new VM account under 3698 directly

So let's say that 3698 is the Sales Hunt number but you want any VM that is left for the group to

end up in a shared mailbox under 3600. You would then just add 3698 as an alternate extension

under 3600 and you're good to go. In your case this is unnecessary.
