CUCM 8.6.2 Extension Mobility License Count

guys I need to know if Extension Mobility User Enabled and this user is associated with a device profile does this consume extra DLUs?

In other words how many DLUs a device profile conume and does it depend on the Model of the primary user phone for that user?

CUCM Version is 8.6.2

Hi Karim,

If you also want to use unified mobility and check "enable mobility" check box on end user config, then yes mpre DLus will be consumed as mentioned below:

Thank you Rajan but I will not check Mobility I am talking about device profile and extension mobility does it consume DLUs without mobility being checked for the user just extension mobility and device profile ?

Ideally it should not as the licenses will be consumed only based on the device type in 8.x and for softphones like CIPCs if they are associated with hard phones less no of DLUs will be consumed. Only unified mobility consumes additional DLUs.

Others can correct me if i am wrong.
