CUCM 8 Additional phone units

Dear all,

We have CUCM 8 installed on a MCS 7825-H3 server (P/N:AH771A)

'currently, it has 1000 units, I would like to know if it's possible to extend the licensing unit to be 1400 in order to support more ip phones using the same hardware.

Any additional licensing for clustering ? In case,we'll add a CUCM subscriber

Hi,

you need to look for cisco partner to put an order for additonal license (DLU) of phones. also you need node licenses to add subscribers.

I am not sure if call manager end of sale or not. if it is end of sale you need to upgrade to ccm 8.5 or 8.6 at minimum. also at that case you need to check if your current hardware support the new version.
