Has anyone experienced issues upgrading to CUCM 8.x? And where does Cisco publish bug, fixes or issues for 8.x? Is there a scheduled patch for 8.0 yet? Any recommendations or experiences upgrading from version 6.1 to 8.0? Thanks!

its gonna be trial by fire with this. Just like we all had to do with 4.x to 5.x or 4.x to 6/7x.
I would recommend you buy a hardware and run an offline test.
DRS backup 6.1
Install 6.1 on new server (offline)
DRS restore (offline)
Then inplace upgrade to 8.x
review the upgraded product and see how it goes, etc. Its what i did with each of the other upgrades when I was heading into uncharted waters....

Hi,
Did you have any luck upgrading from CallManager 6.1 to 8.x? I am planning to do the upgrade from 6.1 to 8.0.2. Did you encounter any glitches during the upgrade or with the CallManager 8.x itself?
