Dear Team,
My system use CUCM 9.1. Includes sccp phone 8945, sip phone 8961.
I dial from sccp phone 8945 to pstn phone, i wait about 10 second to hear ringing signal, it 's ok.
But when i dial from sip phone 8961 to pstn phone, i wait about 26 second, it 's too a long time.
Please help me, how to set parameter on CUCM to reduce dial time of sip phone 8961.

HI,
what is your gateway, h323 or sip ?
try to use # at the end of the call, it will speed the call beacuse it is a SIP.

Hi Anas,
Voice gateway is h323. when i dial from sccp phone 8945, it ok,
But dial from sip phone 8961, it 's too slow to make a call.
Do you have other solution, how to set sip parameter on CUCM?

Hi Nam,
they are talking about firmware update. try to update to the latest one if possible.
for timer you can go to service parameters, choose the call manager service to find the T302 parameter to minimize the time

Hi Nam,
change the value to 4000 and test. My recommendation is to upgrade firmware.
kindly find the below description for T302.
This parameter specifies an interdigit timer for sending the SETUP ACK message.
The timer restarts each time Cisco CallManager receives a digit. When this timer expires,
Cisco CallManager routes the dialed digits. For exact timer definitions,
refer to the Q.931 specification.
This is a required field.
Default: 15000
Minimum: 3000
Maximum: 75000
Unit: msec

Hi Anas,
I just disscus my team, firmware 8961 was updated with lastest version (8961.9-3-2-10).
Tomorrow, i will change T302 to 4000, and test.
How about set timeout digit on voice gateway, or set sip dial rule on cucm? need or no need?

we are having the exact issue with CUCM 9.1 with SIP phones(6921 ,9951,3905 ) ,IDD dialing
