CUCM Call Routing. Order of partitions Vs Best Match.

Cube -- SIP trunk -- CUCM -- SIP Phones

Trunk CSS has 2 Pt

Css-inbound (in order of prioritization)

1 -pt-screen

2 -pt-DN

Pt-screen has translation pattern 75xx

pt-Dn has DN 7522 assigned to it.

Incoming call to 7522 should hit?

I was anticipating it should hit the first prioritized pt, but did not. Checked some documentation to verify best match will take over pt prioritization list in CSS.

What can be the other way to achieve this? I want a translation pattern to be triggered not the DN.

Order of the partitions in a CSS in ONLY used as a tie breaker when two or more DN/patterns are equally good matches, otherwise, best match routing is always used, no matter where the partition of the target is in the CSS.
