Hi
Our CUCM cluster (currently v6.1.4 but we will upgrade to v8.6.2 soon) was recently integrated with Lync for Remote Call Control. Therefore, we need to enable CUP for all users via System > Licensing > Capabilities Assignment. Initially, this is possible using Bulk, however we need to repeat this each time a new user is added via LDAP.
Is there a way to enable CUP for all new users by default? If not, any suggestions/workarounds to automate this process?
PS: in addition, we needed to assign RCC to all CUPS users as well, but since we upgraded CUPS from v6.X to 8.5, all CUPS users are RCC enabled by default. Is this now default behavior or if this is a global setting in CUPS?
Thanks!

Unfortunately there is no way to configure CUCM to enable all users to be CUPS/CUPC enabled by default.

Hi Java
Thanks for the reply. Any idea if there is a workaround which could allow us to automate this process? I guess I'm not the first looking for an easy solution...
Thanks
