Hi All,
Just want to get the information as title.
If one Publisher is placed in data center, and other Subscriber is placed in the remote location through MPLS (2M)
Can anyone tell me what is the time taking for the publisher and subscriber database replication and the total bandwidth required for the database replication?
Thank you,
Sunny Wong

Hi Sunny,
40 msec one way (80 msec round trip) latency you need to maintain between publisher and subscriber, and 2 mb link is okay per node if above mentioned latency maintained.

Hi Suresh,
Thank you for your reply.
But I think 2 M is too much.
Because there are only 2M for client MPLS between HQ and remote location.
It should be use for voice and Publisher and subscriber traffic.."

The SRND already covers this
There is no real way to tell you how long it will take, as with any other data transfer, it will depend on the network (speed, rtt, etc.), and the amount of data. Also explained in the above doc.
