I am trying to see what would be the best way to address fail-over of SIP trunking. We have two data centers and each have one CUBE with one dedicated ITSP circuit connecting into it. We recently added an over the internet SIP trunk for additional redundancy. We are using the SIP options keep alive to fail over from the dedicated circuit on CUBE 2 to dedicated circuit on CUBE 1 and then the over the internet SIP trunk on CUBE 1. We are in the process of adding one additional over the internet SIP trunk to CUBE 2 and are trying to figure out the best process of failing over to it since its back on the other CUBE. I am thinking we may need a separate CUBE with SIP trunk to CUCM to make this happen. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Option 1 : CUCM -> SIPTRUNK2 - CUBE 2 -> ITSP dedicated A
Option 2: CUCM -> SIPTRUNK1 - CUBE 1 -> ITSP dedicated B
Option 3: CUCM -> SIPTRUNK1 - CUBE 1 -> ITSP over internet SIP trunk C
Option 4: CUCM -> SIPTRUNK2 - CUBE 2 -> ITSP over internet SIP trunk D *** NEW circuit ***
