CUCMBE and active directory

Hi All, Wonder if someone can help? CUCMBE integrated with AD - all works fine but then customer decides to just go and delete an OU witin AD before removing users 1st. Now we cannot delete the users within CUCMBE both un callmanager and unity parts, the AD check complains because these OU's are not there. Any ideas on how to proceed - If I stop AD sync, will it allow me to delete the users without deleting the remaining users and then still be OK if I re-enable data sync?

Paul,

You can try to re-sync up to another AD server(possibly even the same AD/OU name/location) and then wait another 24 hours for our deletion process to take effect. The process should sync up to the AD server and then make the users go from an "Active" state to an "In-Active" ...once they are marked inactive then our deletion process will take over and delete them in the early hours of the morning. Please make sure your "DirSync" process is turned on and active during all this.

If that doesn't work within 48 hours then you'll probably have to open up a TAC case on it.
