CUCMBE as a Backup

Hi

Can we use CUCMBE as A backup for Our CUCM ?

because we have CUCM and now all the phones are register on it so can we use the unused CUCMBE to be as backup for the CUCM

Not as a CUCMBE, only if you turn it into a full CUCM and make it a SUB for the other cluster.

thanks for your replay, to turn our CUCMBE to be CUCM and make it as SUB do i need any more license or we will install the CUCM software in that server and select to be SUB ?

The cluster to which you'll join the server needs to have node licenses available.
