Direct Outward System Access on BE 3000

Hi,

One of my clients want their users to dial into the office number thru ISDN PRI DID number and use the office PBX (BE 3000) International Dial facility to dial out once the user is verified using user id and PIN. I believe this feature is called DOSA (Direct Outward system access) industry wide. Can anyone tell me whether this is supported on BE 3000? If yes, how this feature can be enabled on BE 3000 (version 8.6.4)?

Regards

Satish

Satish,

In Cisco we usually refer to this term as Mobile Voice Access, or MVA. In regular CUCM business edition it's supported by using a H323 Gateway and a VoiceXML Script hosted on the CUCM server.

Unfortunately I'm not aware if this feature has been implemented on BE 3000, since the PSTN connectivity and all routing is based on CUCM. We would need to look at the datasheet for the BE 3000 to see if it supports MVA.
