We have recently upgraded the software on our CUCM from 8.5 to 10.5 and I want to be able to disable the speakerphone feature on some phones (7945G). Under configuration layout on the phones I have selected the option to disable the speakerphone but when I select the speaker option on the phones the audio is still coming through the speaker. Is there anyway to 100 % disable audio from coming through the speaker?
is this happening with all 7945's or with any specific phone, as the procedure you are following is correct. we disable the speakerphone option from the phone configuration page.
try restarting the tftp service followed by a phone reset.
