Hi,
I want to do a DMA from CCM 4.0(2A) to 6.1(1A).
The version 6.1(1A) will be running on a brand new server.
I ran the CallManager Upgrade Assistant file CCMUpgdAsstInstall.4-3-13.exe. And everything was OK exept the memory.
My old server is MCS-7835i-3.0-IPC1 with only 1 Gig of memory and as per the Upgrade assistant I need 2 Gig.
Could I run the DMA anyway ? It took me 3 hours to install the DMA software, and normally as per the documentation it take 20-40 minutes.... Could I expect my DMA will only take more time and it's suppose ?
Somebody have already try that ?

Hi,
You can run DMA as long as the new server meets the requirements to support the 6.1 version you will install. Check the compatibility guide below:

Tere.

Hi,
Just to be sure, my new server mets the requirements for running the CUCM 6.1(1a) but the old publisher server whois running CCM 4.0(2a) where I will run the DMA software have only 1 gig of memory. After run the DMA on that server I will install directly on the new server CUCM 6.1(1a) with the .tar file.
Did you already, did that kind of upgrade where the Call Manager Upgrade Assistant give you that memory error ?
I fear to do DMA and the server crash because we don't have enought memory.
