Hi,
According to the Cisco Doco, below setup (part 4) should work if all requirements are met.

However, I find it very difficult to find a 2 pins/wires Rj11 cable. Does it really need to be a 2 pins/wires one?
Also, I have tested with a normal 4pins Rj11 btw FXS and FXO interfaces and I did not see link lights comingup.
Any ideas?

Well the ports themselves only look at a single pair, so tip and ring (2 wires total) is all that the port will look at. Though it is wise to not use 4-conductor wiring anywhere, since you can potentially get analog crosstalk when doing that.
You don't have a concept of a link light on an analog circuit. There is not a pulse to test for a link connection on the other side with FXS/FXO.
Just use a cable that is straight through (tip-to-tip, ring-to-ring) and you should be good. Crosses cables (tip-to-ring) will not work. Then place a test call across the circuit, and use 'debug vpm sig' or 'sh voice call sum' to see what the state of the port on the other side goes to.

Thanks Steve once again.
And I am new to Cvoice and hope doing this would help learning.
